About Raziya
Hello, I’m Raziya I’m a qualified Science teacher with experience teaching in schools and supporting students one-to-one. I understand that Science can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with the right support it becomes much more manageable – and even enjoyable! My aim is always to put the student at the centre of the lesson. I listen, adapt my teaching to their needs, and build their confidence step by step. Whether it’s understanding tricky topics in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, or preparing for important exams, I focus on making learning clear, supportive, and effective. Parents and students can feel reassured knowing that I bring not only subject knowledge but also patience, encouragement, and a proven track record of helping young people succeed.

I teach KS3 & KS4 Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics). My lessons are student-centred – I make sure every student feels heard and supported. I break down tricky topics into simple steps and use real-life examples to make learning clear and engaging. I include exam-style practice to build confidence and strong exam technique. A typical lesson is up to 1 hour, with a mix of explanation, practice, and discussion. I am a qualified Science teacher of many years, with classroom and one-to-one tutoring experience. I have worked with students of all abilities – from those aiming to secure a pass to those pushing for top grades. Lessons are suitable for students aged 11–16 (KS3 & GCSE). My goal is simple: to help students understand Science, feel confident, and achieve their best.
