About Humaira
I am a qualified science teacher currently teaching in a secondary school where I am the lead teacher for Chemistry. I am able to teach KS3 and KS4 GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
I have four years experience in offering private tuition. I currently tutor alongside my main job as a Teacher of Science. All of my tutees have achieved their target grades.
I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE in Chemistry and BSc (Hons) in Chemistry.

I ensure I teach according to the grade 9 - 1 curriculum and provide pupils with plenty of exam style questions to give them an opportunity to apply their understanding.
I use a variety of teaching techniques based on pupils needs to ensure they understand the material and to assess their learning. I work with students and parents to gain an understanding of which topics they would like tutoring in and require extra help. I am more than happy to provide pupils with extra resources to practice further questions.
