About Falah
Hi, my name is Falah and I am a qualified science teacher with a first class honours degree in Biology. I currently work as an Academic mentor for science at a secondary school and have been teaching all the sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). As a qualified teacher, I have been able to develop my teaching skills and utilise a range of techniques to ensure my students understand the content they are studying. I like to explain content in a simple and understandable way. But that is not sufficient unless students have shown me that they understand the content too. I ensure this by incorporating mini assessments/questions throughout the lesson; testing students' knowledge in each aspect of the topic and clarifying any misconceptions before moving onto the next topic. I also believe that students need to set high expectations in order to gain the best outcome of their learning. As your teacher, I will be able to challenge you, yet guide you to ensure you get the maximum learning from my lessons.
