About Daniel
I enjoy passing on knowledge and helping students achieve their goals. I take great joy from seeing my students achieve what they set out to and in helping them discover what they are capable of.
I have a large body of experience as a tutor/teacher and as a qualified teacher who teaches in the classroom, I am able to provide you with a high quality lesson experience.
My additional background in academia and research, specialising in Marine Science, gives a unique opportunity for you to work and learn from someone who is not only a qualified teacher but also a published and active research scientist.

I take a highly student centred approach to my classes, making it as easy as possible for you to be engaged in the lessons.
My lessons are multi-dimensional and use a variety of resources to make sure that you are getting the best learning opportunities possible. As a teacher, I pride myself on taking my students through problems within contexts that are relevant to them, and use a variety of different media, creating deep and meaningful learning experiences and great learning outcomes.
I teach Biology for all levels and ages and a typical lesson goes for 45 minutes. I am happy to accomodate lessons of different lengths when requested.
