About Ayan
I am a UK qualified Science teacher with over 14 years of experience across leading UK and international private schools, specialising in Biology, Chemistry and Science at KS3, GCSE and IGCSE level.
My career has included both Science leadership and senior pastoral roles, giving me a strong understanding not only of academic success, but of the confidence, motivation and individual support young people need to achieve their potential.
My tutoring is highly personalised. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, identify gaps and misconceptions, and tailor my teaching accordingly. Complex scientific concepts are broken down with clarity, while students are progressively challenged to develop deeper understanding, independence and sophisticated exam technique.
Having worked within high performing private and international school environments, I understand the academic expectations placed upon students and families, and I bring that same level of professionalism, preparation and attention to detail to my private tuition.
Above all, I want my students to leave each lesson feeling more knowledgeable, more confident and more capable than when they arrived.

My lessons are interactive, structured and confidence building, with a strong focus on understanding concepts, applying knowledge and developing effective exam technique. I break difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps, adapting lessons to each student’s ability and learning style.
