About Raquel
I'm Raquel, a native Spanish teacher. I have a degree in art history and a postgraduate course in pedagogy and teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
I love languages, my long experience in language studies allows me to empathize with my students and understand what they need.
I am very organized and like to motivate my students with all kinds of materials so that they experience the language from all possible angles (audios, songs, current texts, cultural experiences, short films ...).

Every person has a special way of learning, some people learn better by listening, others better by speaking, still others by reading ... That is why my lessons are adapted to the needs of the student, I am flexible with what the student needs.
I like to set goals that will help motivate students. I accompany students as they study so that they feel that their teacher really wants them to learn.
I want to help my students speak in Spanish on any subject, from everyday subjects to more difficult ones like literature , Art, Politics, Environment, just like we do in our mother tongue.
For beginners, I focus more on grammar and vocabulary, but I also help them communicate properly from day one.
Joy and fun are the key to any learning experience.
