About Demi
I am a current Y4 classroom teacher, with experience across the Primary age phase. I have previously worked as a Classroom Assistant at a Kumon Study Centre for two years. I have a First Class honours degree in Education and full DBS Certification. Additionally, I am fully trained and qualified in the following reading practices: ‘Boosting Reading at Primary School’, Read, Write, Inc. and SoundsWrite phonics programmes.

My teaching method is child centred and lead, and based upon the previous knowledge and skills of each individual learner. I am a firm believer that approaching learning this way encourages maximum engagement as it is personalised to their tastes and interests, whilst also promoting and instilling a love of learning within them.
Lessons will always begin with a friendly introduction, so that I can get to know your child and find out what their areas of strengths are, as well as the things they wish to improve upon. After this, I will create a tailored personal learning plan that aligns with the national curriculum and progression documents to fully support your child to reach and further their potential.
