About Faiqa
I am a fully qualified Science and Physics teacher with experience teaching Year 7 to Year 13 in London schools. I create supportive, engaging lessons that make difficult topics feel manageable and enjoyable. My goal is to help every student gain confidence, make real progress, and reach their target grades. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, focused on clear explanations and regular feedback. Identifying misconceptions is crucial to my teaching strategy and then tailoring my teaching with modelling, scaffolding, real world examples and exam style questions to deepen understanding. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on the student’s needs. I hold a PGCE with QTS from University College London and have experience teaching Year 7 to Year 13, specialising in GCSE and A-level Physics. I design lessons for a wide range of learners including KS3 students who need support with foundational science, GCSE students aiming for higher grades, and A-level Physics students preparing for exams or needing help with challenging topics.
