About Katie
I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who is originally from South Africa. I've been in Singapore for just over 30 years and I'm now a Singapore citizen. I am a firm believer that teaching and learning must go far beyond academic curriculums. I place an immense emphasis on respect, empathy, resilience and striving to do your best. I believe that learning spaces should be safe, supportive and positive environments where students feel comfortable facing challenges, failing and then being inspired to try again. I aim for my teaching and learning practices to be engaging, fun and, when appropriate, full of humour.

I offer engaging, tailor-made math lessons for primary students. My lessons, online or in person, are designed to build confidence, address individual needs, and make learning enjoyable and effective.
