About Natalie
I am a fully qualified teacher who has a passion for inspiring students to reach their full potential and removing any barriers to learning English.
After teaching children in primary schools for the last 8 years I have become passionate about teaching writing, spelling and grammar and sparking children's imaginations. I have many years of experience in preparing children for the KS2 examinations and English at secondary education and am confident I can achieve great results with even the most reluctant students. I am an approachable, confident and energetic tutor who is ready to propel your child to the next stage of their education.
For primary age students up to Year 6, I will provide 60 minute sessions which are fully interactive and based on your child's needs, providing them with a personalised learning experience which will allow them to pass their exams and become confident with the English language.

Within my 1:1 english and maths lessons, I use a fun and engaging approach to ignite children's curiosity, using a range of audio and visual stimulus related to the topic we are studying.
Through my many years of experience in teaching English and Maths, I have a range of strategies to target specific learning needs and specialise in sparking the imaginations of the most reluctant readers and writers. My students typically develop a new enjoyment and satisfaction with English lessons and reading, as I am able to explain concepts they have previously struggled with in a different way.
Usually, we generate laughter, fun, and conversation in our sessions together.
I have high levels of patience, clarity in communicating ideas, and expert knowledge of the topics we encounter.
