About Isobel
I’m a vocal trainer, singer & songwriter based in Ashbourne hoping to take on students for vocal training!
As a qualified singing teacher through BAST Training, I’m also currently completing my grade exams with The Royal Irish Academy of Music.
My professional training includes musical theatre, classical and pop singing styles under the Leinster School of Music, Royal Irish Academy of Music, Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts London and successful Irish songwriter Lauryn Gaffney.
This training has provided knowledge and ability to coach students that share a love and passion for singing that I do!
I believe that everyone can learn to sing regardless of natural ability or previous coaching experience. I take an open, honest approach when teaching to ensure each individual’s needs are met. It’s important that the student enjoys each lesson!

I prefer to take a calm and patient approach, whilst constructively correcting improper technique/habits of a student for their learning and progress when teaching.
It’s important to consider the position of each student such as their age, gender, previous training, vocal strain/injury, illness, learning difficulties etc.
Every student is different! Some coaches/students may not be a suitable match and that is okay.
For me, of the most important components of teaching is adapting to the needs of each student. Communication, trust and understanding comes above all else.
