About Rachit
Hey! I'm Rachit, a third year Computer Science student, who got the top grades in A-Level CompSci. I have around 3 years in tutoring experience - I taught a variety of students whilst studying at sixth-form for my A-Levels and university. Throughout this, I gained a deep understanding of how to maximise getting marks in exams. I work best with students who are just a few marks away from an A/A*, I can coach and work with them to help them push past the high grade boundaries. Additionally, as I'm a CompSci student myself, I can go super in-depth with my teaching, challenging and pushing pupils to go beyond the spec and get a deeper understanding of the content.
I currently intern at a leading cybersecurity company as a software engineer - I have real production experience.

With over 3 years of tutoring experience in London, I have worked extensively with different exam boards such as AQA and OCR. This exposure has given me the ability to tailor lessons to specific exam requirements, so students are well-prepared and confident. My teaching revolves around the "understand, not memorise" philosophy, fostering deep comprehension rather than rote learning. I usually have 75-minute sessions, I feel that most topics require over an hour to fully understand and reach the bottom of. To supplement learning, I always provide homework and exam-style questions aligned with students' learning objectives. This means that the student not only has the core knowledge, but they can apply it to an exam context, ensuring they can get the highest of marks. I always encourage students to reach out with any questions or clarifications outside of scheduled sessions.
