About Ashleigh
Outside of my studies in anatomy, I work in the harm reduction space where I help people reduce their dependence on alcohol to improve their overall health and wellness. Prior to that, I spent about 7 years working in the software industry before taking a hard left turn toward my passion for learning and health science.
In my personal life, I like to spend time with my husband and our puppy, take Peloton classes, and get outdoors. I'm also expecting my first child, so it's been interesting to experience the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy first hand!

I like to focus on the specific learning objectives for your class or assignment and custom tailor our sessions from there to ensure you're getting the most out of our time together. I use a spiral learning model, making sure the basics are covered and well understood before increasing the complexity of the topic we are covering. This helps you to fully understand the subject matter rather than just using rote memorization, and lays a solid foundation to keep developing your knowledge in the future.
