About Janna
After high school, I graduated from college in Chicago with a bachelor's degree in Communications. I worked for a textbook publishing company and a magazine. Then I worked in the business field until I had 2 kids. Homeschooling them came naturally, and we had a blast! For our last school year when they were 12 and 14 years old, I bought a motorhome in Europe and drove 10,000 miles in 18 countries. We enjoyed numerous museums and learned so much from staying with 10 different friends. Because I like variety, I have worked as a substitute teacher for over 5 years, in many schools for all ages. I'm good at jumping onto the scene and assessing what needs to be done. Let's work together; I'll be happy to help you!

I can teach a huge range of ages, as long as you have a lifelong desire to never stop learning.
Writing by hand helps retain information better than typing, so you'll need to have a writing utensil and paper, or a dry erase marker and whiteboard.
