About Daniel
A little bit about me is that I'm a second-year Engineering student at Queen's University. I was able to achieve the highest average of 99% in my school when graduating from high school. I believe this was because I had an intimate understanding of the way concepts were taught and tested on. I started tutoring because, in high school, I was always the person to who all the other students came for help when they could not understand the teacher. As a student, I felt I was able to explain concepts to other students in a way that many professors weren't able to.

For me, it is all about practice, practice and more practice. Many students try to memorize, without acquiring an understanding that allows for greater success. I'll explain a concept, with examples, then give the students problems to practice, where they are encouraged to ask about any areas they don't fully understand. These lessons are for middle-school to high-school students who aren't achieving the level of understanding (and/or grades) that they desire.
