About Precious
Hi! I'm Chinenye Precious Nwokpe and I'm a multidisciplinary artist based in Nigeria. My most frequently used mediums are Charcoal, Ink and Acrylic, and sometimes Graphite, Pastel, Oils. While various forms of art are of interest to me, I seek to imbue a touch of photorealism to my drawings and paintings. If this is something you're interested in learning, or fine-tuning, do request a lesson. Your first one will be free so we can get to know each other, and what you expect to get out of our following classes.

"Draw it as you see it."
Easier said than done. How do you transmit the world, a reference picture or a face, in all its complicated dimensions unto a planar paper surface? Because you see humans just like you do it all the time, you know it is not impossible, but whenever you try, it comes out looking off. How do you get the proportions right? How do you shade textures so fabric doesn't look like skin, or wood, like glass? How do you combat the intimidating world of shadows and light, when you have barely managed to get your sketch right? You get yourself a good tutor, is how.
