I am a recent biology graduate of the CSU university system in California. I have obtained my Bachelor's in biology and have 4+ years of leading highly successful study and informal tutoring groups. In learning a science I believe a good foundation in the basics of the topic is crucial to understanding and building knowledge. I approach each topic by review of information known to the student and build on that foundation. I try to engage my students in the lesson by encouraging questions and asking non rhetorical questions to encourage discussion.
