About Devin
I just graduated from Pace University in December 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and a minor in Latin American Studies. My time spent abroad, including 2 months in Spain, gave me first hand experience with the language allowing me to speak and comprehend Spanish as well as a native speaker. I am available for Spanish tutoring for students as young as 10 to college age. Though my tutoring experience is minimal, I have several years of experience in instruction. Since 2015, I have been a dance teacher for children of all ages and I also have several years of experience in providing child care for multiple families.

My teaching methods vary depending on each student. I believe that instruction should be individualized to meet each student's unique needs. One aspect of language learning that I find to be most important is fully immersing students into the language and culture. This means using the language as much as possible during class time and relating topics back to aspects of the language's culture and history.
