About Heather
I work full-time as an engineer and hope to inspire younger students to pursue a career in STEM even though the topics are more challenging. As a tutor, I will dedicate my time to helping my students get to the level that they are aiming to achieve. Grade improvements will be seen with dedicated practice!

Lesson plans will vary depending on the student. Lessons will depend largely upon whether the student is struggling in a course or wants to get ahead in school. I love working with middle school through high school students. Math can especially be difficult for students so my aim will be to focus on their weak points and break down topics into easily digestible segments. This makes learning more manageable and less frustrating. Since I am younger than other tutors, I have found that students have found me more approachable than compared to asking for help from teachers.
