I'm a recent College graduate with a chemistry degree. I want to break into tutoring because people tutoring me, from peers to professors, really helped me get through college. I feel the need to give back and help people learn as others have helped me learn.

As a recent college graduate, I'd like to give lessons to high school students or beginning college students, people who I think I could help the most. My technique is to get the student to engage with the lesson. I come in and guide them as needed with techniques that I've learned so that they can overcome and learn. As a tutor, I like to try teach critical problem solving skills that allow students to become sufficient without me. I believe the ultimate end game of a tutor is that I am no longer required after a while because the student has learned.
