As a tutor, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapting my methods to each student’s unique learning style. A typical lesson combines concept review, guided practice, and targeted problem-solving, with time set aside for questions and real-world applications. What sets me apart is my ability to blend my Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science background from Duke with strong communication skills, helping students not only understand the material but also build confidence. My lessons are designed for high school and early college students, with a particular emphasis on Math, English, SAT/ACT prep, and college application guidance. I can help with all things college application essays and frameworks to make sure students get into their top schools. I aim to create an engaging, supportive environment that empowers students to reach their academic goals while developing long-term skills for success!
