About Michelle
Hi! I'm Michelle, a recent GCSE graduate with a passion for maths and helping others learn. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques that can make revision more effective. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.
My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and enjoy maths rather than fear it. Whether you need help with difficult topics, homework, or exam preparation, I'm here to support you every step of the way and help you achieve your goals.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I aim to build confidence by explaining concepts in simple, easy-to-understand steps before working through examples together. I encourage students to ask questions and use plenty of practice questions to strengthen their understanding and prepare for exams.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are held online. Each session is structured around the student's goals, whether that is improving confidence, catching up on topics, or preparing for assessments.
As a recent GCSE graduate, I understand the current curriculum and the challenges students face because I have recently studied it myself. I am passionate about helping others succeed by sharing effective revision techniques and problem-solving strategies.
My lessons are suitable for KS3 and GCSE students (Years 7–11) who are looking to improve their maths skills, build confidence, or achieve higher grades.

This first lesson is free to allow you to get to know your teacher so that they can best meet your needs.

Details
Special Offer: To help new students get started, I offer a free 30-minute introductory lesson to understand their goals, identify areas for improvement, and create a personalised learning plan. After this, the first three full lessons are available at a reduced rate of £10 per hour. My standard lesson rate is £12 per hour thereafter.
