About Kristen
Hello, I am a recently graduated Master's student in the field of Microbiology. I have academic experience in a wide range of biological sciences and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I love learning and I love to share knowledge though teaching as well. I have a combined 2 years experience tutoring students using the Chegg online platform and during my tenure as a librarian. During my 2 years completing my Master's degree with the University of Florida, I completed over 10 academic science papers including research reviews, critical reviews, lab protocols, and my final thesis which was about "Probiotics and the Gut-Brain Axis".

My teaching method can satisfy a large range of educational levels and group sizes considering I have experience tutoring though Chegg online (which was most often tutoring on the college level) and tutoring while I was employed as a librarian (mostly tutoring on the high school level).
My approach to help individuals tackle a topic focuses on breaking down a topic to its simplest components and working from the ground up. Often we don't fully comprehend a concept because we haven't zoomed in on the precise issue at hand.
