About Thandiwe
I have a calm and patient demeanor when tutoring. My philosophy is to meet people where they are at and build from there in a way that allows students to see how far they've come. I teach conversation through encouraging real-life dialogue and providing examples of phrases used in everyday life.

Growing up with English as my first and only language spoken at home, I have experience in tailoring language learning to the needs of other native English speakers. I have a rich understanding of the grammatical and structural elements as well as cultural elements of the Spanish language spanning across various countries. And the things that I don't know I am willing to learn about with my students! I believe in learning being a continuous process.
