Hi,
I am a kind and hard-working individual that values my education and the skills and knowledge it can provide. I understand sitting exams or learning a new subject can be daunting, and I hope to help with that the best I can :).
I am extremely patient and empathetic. What works for someone else might not work for you! I take the time and effort to get to know you as a person to help design a plan that fits you and your style of learning.
I enjoy sports and animals, so I know the difficulty of balancing other commitments alongside your studies.

I have been a private tutor for several years and have lots of experience with both GCSE and A-Level students. I have two younger sisters that I have helped throughout their education (most recently tutored my youngest sister with her GCSEs this summer!).
I look to specialise each session around a specific subject area you might be struggling with and try and find the approach that best fits you. This may be through visual prompts, diagrams, rhymes or colours. I have found in the past, students often prefer a combination of a few.
I focus mainly on Geography, but also happy to tutor History as well. Lessons are usually around an hour, although this can be tailored depending on how you best work.

I recommend my sister as a tutor as she has helped be with my GCSE exam prep for Geography this summer. She gave me her old flash cards but I didn’t find they worked for me, so instead she helped me by drawing diagrams to better explain how environmental processes work. It’s helped a lot on some of the more difficult bits I was struggling with.
