About Elmer
As your music tutor, it is my job to help provide you with the knowledge I have as a musician, but also learn more about you as an individual to help you grow the best. As a recent graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, I have been equipped with the skills needed to communicate my ideas, to analyze what works and what does not work, and to improve my method or to find solutions that work for the student.

Music is tough! Improving in music of course takes hard work and dedication, but often in areas that we don't realize. Of course, playing your instrument well is important to being a good musician, but also understanding the music itself and what message the music is trying to convey will elevate one's artistry to a higher degree than focusing solely on playing the instrument.
