About Aileen
I recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Education. I am currently preparing to take my teaching exams to become a certified teacher in English by the end of June 2026. During my time in undergrad, I worked with children from age 5-17 in multiple settings, including as an online tutor. Most recently, I was an Ignite Fellow with Teach for America, teaching English/ESL online to 4th graders. I am very flexible and willing to work around your schedule and at your pace!

I aim to assist students by focusing on their problem areas through a variety of methods, from games to worksheets. We will work on homework and review in-class materials together, focusing on what they find most challenging. There is no one individual approach as every student has different needs, but I will aim to find the best strategies for each student. The goal of sessions is to leave students feeling more confident in themselves, their abilities, and the subject matter.
