About Julian
I am a recent MD graduate with a strong foundation in clinical medicine and a passion for medical education. My own journey through the USMLE exams has given me firsthand insight into the challenges students face, and I enjoy helping others approach them with confidence and strategy. I bring a structured yet flexible approach to teaching: emphasizing active learning, question-based practice, and clinical reasoning. Beyond test prep, I value building mentorship relationships and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy exploring Italian culture, cooking, and practicing yoga and meditation — all of which keep me grounded and bring balance to my work.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. We begin by identifying your strengths, weaknesses, and goals, whether that’s building a strong foundation in Step 1 concepts, mastering high-yield Step 2 CK topics, or preparing for NBME assessments and OSCEs.
I use a case-based and question-driven approach to simulate the way concepts are tested on the USMLE. Together, we’ll break down UWorld and NBME questions, analyze answer choices, and extract key take-home points. For Step 2 CK, we’ll also focus on clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, and management algorithms.
Each session includes:
High-yield concept review (with mnemonics, pathophysiology links, and exam pearls).
QBank strategy practice (time management, pattern recognition, and test-taking psychology).
NBME and assessment guidance (interpreting scores, tracking progress, targeted remediation).
OSCE/clinical skills practice (history-taking, communication, and case presentation).
My teaching style is supportive but structured: I aim to keep you motivated while holding you accountable to your goals. Lessons are paced according to your timeline — whether you’re aiming for rapid improvement before an exam or steady long-term mastery.
