About Mehk
I just graduated from Johns Hopkins University in December 2020 with a B.S. in Applied Math and Statistics and a B.A. in Economics. I have 2 years of experience tutoring high school students in Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Additionally, I was a teaching assistant for an introductory Python course at Johns Hopkins.

Since I am a recent graduate, I understand student struggles very well and base my teaching approach on difficulties that my peers and I had not too long ago. I always start explaining the basic concepts to my students before getting too specific because my experience shows that having a good foundation is the best way to succeed. I also encourage my students to get a lot of practice with concepts/topics they struggle with.
