About Georgia-Mae
My name is Georgia-Mae and I am a recent Law graduate from the University of Cambridge. I love keeping my brain busy and learning, as well as dancing and playing sports such as netball. As someone who had to work very hard throughout school, college and university, and always asked a million questions, I understand how important it is to have someone to answer them in a way that does not make you feel silly - because you are not! Hence, I would love to be that person for others and help make sense of aspects that do not click automatically. Just because something does not click, does not mean a student does not understand it, just that it has not been explained in a way that clicks with their brain yet!

Through my personal tutoring, I aim to individualise each session to the student. No two students have the same magnificent brains, so no method of teaching should be universal. I aspire to quickly understand a student’s way of working within the first session and adapt future tutoring sessions to effectively reflect that. I believe the more questions asked from my end will not only help me to gauge when a student is following better, but it will create a comfortable environment for the student to ask questions themselves. At the end of the day, I aspire to help and the best way for a student to learn is through asking questions about confusing topics comfortably! I know it is cliché, but there really are no silly questions! My typical length of a lesson is 60 minutes, although this can be varied to suit the individual student’s request. My lessons are targeted at GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate degree students.
