About Huma
As someone who has recently completed GCSEs and A-levels, I understand both the challenges and pressures that students face. I want to tutor because I know how much of a difference the right support can make to a student’s confidence and performance. My aim is to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and showing them that Chemistry does not have to be intimidating. Having recently studied the content myself, I can offer relevant advice, effective revision techniques, and clear explanations tailored to each student’s needs. Whether a student is aiming to improve their confidence, raise their grades, or reach the highest levels of achievement, I am committed to helping them realise their potential and succeed in their exams.

Having recently completed both my GCSEs and A-levels, I have a strong understanding of the current exam system and the challenges many students face when studying Chemistry. Because I have been through these exams myself, I can relate to students and explain difficult concepts in a way that is clear, simple, and easy to understand.
My approach is centred around creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that confidence is one of the most important factors in academic success, so I work closely with students to build their understanding step by step and help them develop a positive attitude towards the subject.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. Whether a student is struggling with core concepts, looking to improve their exam technique, or aiming for the highest grades, I adapt my teaching style to suit their goals. I also focus on developing effective revision strategies and problem-solving skills that students can use independently throughout their studies.
As a recent student myself, I understand which revision methods are most effective and how to approach GCSE exam questions with confidence. I aim not only to improve grades but also to help students genuinely understand and appreciate the subject.
My goal is to make Chemistry feel more accessible, less intimidating, and ultimately more enjoyable. Through patience, clear explanations, and personalised support, I strive to help every student reach their full potential and achieve the results they are capable of.
