About Akshay
I am passionate about maths. I did my high school from India which helped me develop a strong base in maths and I used to teach maths to middle school kids in high school. At University of Maryland, my interest in math helped me land a math coach job and a teaching assistant job. I graduated in Statistics in May 2018 and am now giving online math lessons!

I like teaching with examples and ensuring that my students grasp the concept. My first step is to analyze how much the student already knows and then base my teaching methodology accordingly. Also I feel doing multiple examples with variations and quizzing is the best way of understanding any concept in maths.
