About Matthew
I have just graduated from the University of Glasgow with an honours degree in mathematics (still awaiting final results). I am hoping to extend my studies by stating a masters course next year. I am yet to have experience tutoring, however I am a fast learner and I'm excited to start. I can give lessons to groups or to individuals at any level of maths, even up until 2nd or 3rd year university. I understand that times are difficult and uncertain at the moment and so I would be happy to give any help I can to those who need it.

I believe everyone learns in very different ways and so I do not want to stick to a strict form of teaching. I plan to make my teaching methods very flexible and adapt them to the particular pupil/pupils. Maths is strange subject in that it comes easily to some and then others do not understand it at all. With this in mind, I believe I have the ability to explain mathematical concepts and methods in a multitude of different ways that would allow someone to think about it in a different way and perhaps achieve a better understanding of the subject.
