About Ismael
I hold a Masters degree in chemistry and I am currently working towards a PGCE in chemistry to improve my skills as a teacher. I have volunteered in an Academy working with key stage 3 and 4 students. This experience improved my knowledge of behaviour management and different teaching techniques. I was also able to improve my interpersonal skills by working with students in key stages 3 and 4, often this was in the form of demonstrating a scientific practical, explanation of a new topic such as the periodic table or naming of chemical compounds.

My teaching approach can be best described as a student-centred approach, utilising inquiry-based learning. In other words, asking what you as a student find problematic and working towards improving your understanding of those topics. My lessons would be most suitable for GCSE and AS-level students.
