About Yashanpreet
I am a very easy going and professional tutor who loves to keep a friendly relationship with my students. I aspire to push my students to their academic limits in order to hone their skills across various STEM topics such as chemistry and biology. I am a visual and applied learner myself and I extend such an approach to encourage my students to understand their problems through multiple perspectives such as applying learned knowledge to real life scenarios.
I always encourage my students to work hard and reap the rewards by investing their time efficiently through assigning the appropriate problems rather than a brute forced approach of teaching everything at once. Teaching in such a manner encourages compartmentalized growth which summarizes as a collection of academia that work to compliment one another.
My professors, students, and peers have always supported my skill in collaborating with a team to accomplish any goal and this is exactly what I wish to achieve with parents and their children, as I believe individualized care to be the key in securing a bright academic future.

A stepwise approach has been broken down for your convenience:
Step I: Gauge the students' level of understanding of topics.
Step II: Define clear expectations about what the student expects of my help and how I would like to help the students.
Step III: Prepare a lesson plan following provincial curriculum beforehand + plenty of examples for the student to work through.
Step IV: Define any further hurdles and work with the student to answer the crux of the problem by approaching the issue in a multidisciplinary lens to understand the problem from multiple perspectives.
Step V: Provide the student with homework problems ranging from easy to higher difficulties to instigate academic growth and positive learning.
In understanding the student's needs through clear communication, I am set apart from the average tutor by providing individualized care for my students and peers, achieving success through effective communication and collaboration. Please note that these lesson strategies are most effective for secondary school and university level students. Other inquiries can be made upon consultation to customize a lesson plan that fits your or your child's needs.
