About Ashfaq
I LOVE LEARNING! And I believe that the best way to understand a concept is by sharing the knowledge.
I always try to understand “how things work” in our surroundings. Therefore, I use a lot of examples from our daily experiences to explain concepts.
During my time at Concordia, I worked as a Welcome Crew Mentor and helped different students find relevant resources offered at the University. I also worked a D3 summer resident where we teamed up with students from different fields to help startup companies with their business models and user experience.
These 2 experiences have made me realize how different our thought processes can be. And it is important to adjust accordingly in order to communicate better with the person. And this cannot be any more relevant for a tutor trying to communicate with their students.

I tutored IGCSE and IAL exam candidates for Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics from 2014-2018. Tutored grade 6 & 7 students in school (2015 summer internship)
I love solving problems and I will try my best to help my students understand the “basic” of the problems. Because, that’s the beauty of it! The “basic” is the direction to the right path, everything else are just steps you take to reach the end of it.
