About Luke
Throughout my PhD, I have loved teaching and inspiring students in chemistry. It has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my education to pass on what I have learnt over the years at university. I am fundamentally curious, with broad interests in chemistry, physics, biology, philosophy, and theology, and I love sharing and encouraging others who share this interest in the world. In my academic journey, I have faced countless challenges in learning about the scientific world, and teaching allows me to help anyone who is going down this journey for the first time.

My philosophy of teaching is to foster a fundamental understanding of the science, allowing students to gauge and extrapolate the concepts they have been taught. In my experience, this is the best way to build confidence for exams and beyond. I have experience teaching students of all ages, having taught at GCSE, A-level, and degree levels. My lessons are typically between 1 and 2 hours; however, this is very flexible.
