About Joanne
I graduated with an exceedingly high study score in Japanese (46 raw scaled to 49+) and I want to be able to transfer my knowledge to help younger students who are looking to study the language that I thoroughly enjoyed studying - despite the stress it brought.

Hi! I teach VCE Japanese for units 1-4, as well as VCE prep work for year 10 students who plan to study Japanese as a VCE Second Language. I plan to start practise exams early in the year - gives more time to practise for the real exam at the end of the year in Year 12. I will also help you with any areas of the subject you struggle with - especially grammar and vocabulary, both of which will help when writing essays and responding to questions in the exam as well as understand the text at a faster rate. Our lessons will typically be 1.5 hours a week. If need be, online lessons are also available!
