About Ngozi
I recently completed my A-levels and have a strong academic background in Mathematics. Throughout secondary school and sixth form, I consistently achieved some of the highest grades in my class.
I also attended a Mathematics residential programme at the University of Cambridge, which deepened my interest in problem-solving and advanced mathematical thinking.
After moving to the UK, I completed the full GCSE Maths curriculum in under a year and achieved a Grade 8. I then went on to complete A-level Maths with strong results. Adapting quickly to a new education system while maintaining high performance has strengthened both my subject knowledge and my discipline.
Because I’ve recently gone through GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand the pressure students face. I know that not everyone struggles because they “aren’t good at maths” — sometimes they just haven’t found the method that works for them.
I’m patient, encouraging, and approachable. My goal is to help students build real understanding, develop effective exam techniques, and maximise marks using methods that suit them. With the right strategy and consistent practice, strong results are absolutely achievable.

My lessons are structured, focused, and fully personalised. Having previously helped classmates improve their understanding of maths, I’ve developed experience in adapting explanations to suit different learning styles.
In our first session, we identify your strengths, weaknesses, and target grade. This helps us create a clear plan so we know exactly what we’re working towards and how to get there.
Each lesson includes clear explanations of key concepts, step-by-step breakdowns of the topic we’re covering, and exam-style practice questions. I focus strongly on exam strategy — not just understanding the content, but knowing how to apply it correctly to maximise marks.
If conventional classroom methods haven’t worked for you, we explore alternative approaches that still lead to the correct answers. Maths is flexible, and sometimes finding the right method makes all the difference.
I make sure every student feels comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. It’s better to fully understand a topic than rush through everything without confidence.
My goal is to build both skill and confidence so students leave each session feeling prepared and capable. Progress is tracked regularly to ensure steady improvement.
