I follow a gradual release method with lessons. I start by demonstrating and modeling the content, then I have the students practice the same steps with me, then they begin their independent work. I am always open to questions and always do my best to answer them to the best of my abilities. I aware that every student learns differently, and I take this into consideration when teaching. Focusing on a students strengths and using them to improve upon their weaknesses is a key factor in my teaching methods, and helps the student feel confident in their weaker subjects.
