About Nicolas
Hello, greetings and welcome everyone! I am a recently qualified tefl teacher and would like to join you on your journey in learning and/or helping improve your English! As it was one of my favourite subjects in high school, I make it my responsibility and goal to see that you enjoy and have fun in each lesson as I did. While I may be relatively new to the online tutoring world, I live my life with the attitude that whatever I am knowledgeable on, there is always more to learn and that in teaching and/or tutoring students, wherever they may be, I can learn some things from them as well. I am patient and energetic so I would love to share my passion for the English language with others too, hopefully changing the stigma that English is a ''boring, uninteresting language that is difficult to learn''. How I saw English in school is how I would want others to as well, to get excited about it as I am able to teach them and guide them on their journey to improving their linguistics. So hopefully we can work together on your journey to improving your English!

Typically I would have a lesson plan prepared based on the syllabus/what the student would wish to focus their attention on. Students are usually hesitant to describe what they are struggling with so, based on the general area they seem to be having difficulty, I take them a few vital steps back to cover any important basics to lead into the issue and approach it head-on together. After enough practice sessions from upcoming lessons covering the topic in greater detail and increasing difficulty, the student should feel prepared to tackle any assessments coming their way. I believe it is better to over-prepare than to underestimate!
