About Shelly
I have experience teaching all age groups, especially at the elementary school level. I recently returned from Japan, where I taught English to kindergarten through junior high school students. I have my BA in English, CELTA ESL certification, and will complete my master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in August, 2023. I aim to always maintain professionalism while still creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to learn and practice the English language.

I have experience teaching all ages, from kindergarten to adult, and tailor my lessons to each individual's needs and personal goals. I first identify my students' preferred learning style and then work within it, keeping things fun but focused on student goals. I believe the best way to learn is through practical, task-based and hands-on activities rather than drilling worksheets or rote repetition. Let's enjoy learning English together :).
