About Kirsten
I've been teaching recorder for 30 years and I've been working as a part-time musician in the local early music scene for even longer. I particularly love baroque music and Scottish / Irish music, but I also feel at home in the Middle Ages & Renaissance as well as modern tonal and atonal recorder music.
I tailor your flute lessons individually to you in terms of methodology, content and learning pace. I'm also flexible in terms of lesson dates: we'll find one that fits us both.

Qualified lessons for beginners and advanced players, on any recorder desired; mostly on alto, tenor or soprano. The goal is a solid recorder technique: a beautiful tone, flexible articulation and light fingers. All musical epochs / styles possible. I am happy to respond to your requests. I work with various tutor books as required; we will choose one that suits you, or work on individual pieces.
