About Tswelopele
I’m a 25-year-old Chartered Accountant from South Africa and love learning and being able to transfer that knowledge. In my last year of study at university, I struggled a lot with audit but with the right guidance and dedication, I managed to pass (I literally passed the supp exam) but then I went on to pass my board exams on the first try and work in audit because that year forced me to understand the fundamental principles of auditing and because audit and financial accounting are interlinked in my line of work, I learned how to apply the standards from the financial reporting framework well enough. I have given guidance to others for the qualifying board exams with them returning to thank me after they passed-this, being able to see people realize their dreams is why I want to do this.

Hi there, I am a Chartered Accountant working in external auditing and therefore have working knowledge of audit and financial accounting. I specialize mostly in everything audit and accounting standards for retail companies (e.g. IFRS 15,16, IAS 16,40,36,28 etc). I’ve compiled financial statements and know about disclosures as well. As a student, I found myself struggling a lot and therefore know a thing or two about struggling to understand and grasp concepts and overcoming these. I aim to find out what the issue is with (e.g. understanding of the concepts or application of the concept) with hopes of breaking things down so they may be understood. My focus is therefore primarily on fundamental principles and their application.
