About Mieken
Im a nurse and mum of a curious 7 year old. I have spent the last 4 years of my 20 year nursing career educating adults, including those with a very limited knowledge of the topic to those more experienced needing high level information.
Im very passionate about health care and feedback from my education always reflects my ability to break down complex topics into more understandable concepts

I have been a nurse for 20 years, working in the hospital system for 5 years then into the community and public health space, specifically:
- Primary health care
- Sexual health nursing
- Viral hepatitis
- Health professional education
