About Steven
I've taught all over Australia, in remote country schools in South Australia and Queensland. I've taught Indigenous and ESL students. For nearly twenty years I taught at the bridging program for the University of Queensland, so I have extensive experience with international students also.
Please note that I do not provide short term tutoring or preparation for one off assignments, exams etc. I am looking for students that want to dedicate at least a half year toward Physics tutoring with me. In the past I've typically begin tutoring students in year 11 and tutored them over their entire senior High schooling.
Also please note that if you are inquiring about tutoring for the 2026 school year I am keen to discuss this but after late October with exam period and my own classes to focus on, I typically cannot take on new tutoring students for that academic year.

I use a lot of worked examples in my teaching and also use simulations extensively to illustrate concepts.
Lessons are 90-120 minutes duration.
Over 30 years experience teaching Physics and over 20 tutoring.
Year 11 and 12 students are the focus - looking for senior high school Physics students.
