About Lewis
I have a first class degree in chemistry with outstanding grades in all areas., including for presentations in which I explained the most niche areas of new chemical research to students who were completely unfamiliar.
My experience comes from years of explaining the most complex chemical theories to a whole host of peers, friends and family members. I've helped so many of my fellow students to understand chemistry better and seen their improvement as a result.

Are you enthusiastic about chemistry or do you just need to pass your exams? Do have a good understanding that you want to improve or are you desperate for help because it's just not going in?
There's no shame in the answers to these questions, and I have plenty of patience and empathy for all students (chemistry is hard!). But your answers are crucially important in adapting the way I teach you and engage with you.
Unlike many teachers, I take a real effort to link classroom chemistry to the world you see around you and the way it behaves, because the best method of learning is linking new information to what you already know, and I can do this with both verbal and visual styles of teaching.
I can explain the same concepts to you a hundred different ways until we find the one that works, and I won't give up on you until you're comfortable that you understand.
