About Amna
My name is Amna and I am a KS3/KS4 Geography trainee teacher, with an academic background in sustainability and a BSc in Environmental Management. I love teaching and supporting students in building confidence in themselves and their abilities, whilst also having the opportunity to teach a subject I am truly passionate about.
Geography allows us to connect students to the wider world, and I enjoy helping learners develop curiosity, understanding, and a genuine interest in global and environmental issues, whilst also building strong foundations for excellent GCSE grades. I aim to create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged, challenged, and motivated to reach their full potential.

My lessons are friendly, interactive, and focused on building real understanding. I like breaking down tricky concepts into simple, manageable steps and explaining things in a clear, patient way.
I believe in quality over quantity, making sure students truly understand a topic before moving on. Lessons are tailored to each student and can include discussion, diagrams, case studies, and exam-style practice.
As a GCSE Geography trainee teacher with an Environmental Management degree and a passion for sustainability, I love bringing real-world examples into lessons to make geography feel relevant and interesting.
My aim is to boost confidence, curiosity, and exam skills in a supportive, relaxed environment.
