About Kavish
I am currently a reporter with the Associated Press, one of the world's most trusted news sources. I most recently graduated from Stanford University with my master's degree. Previously, I was a news video producer, writer, and host for NowThis. I completed my undergraduate education in psychology and French language and literature at New York University.

I teach with empathy and understanding. I take time to understand a student's comfort level with reading and writing, and I help them set goals accordingly. For essay and creative writing, I emphasize the importance of narrative building. As such, my instruction is guided by one core question: What is the story a student wants to tell? From there, I help the student build their narrative with clear writing, evocative details and an effective structure.
