I booked with Syed for my microeconomics class at University of Southern California. We had a series of discussions on topics in microeconomics. After completing discussion on topics, we practiced a few questions that were very helpful during the exam. Also, rather than rewording the question, he would ask it from a different perspective, so I would understand the actual concept and not just the specific problem. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Syed is a great post-graduate professor who understands how to apply quantitative methodology employing the SPSS 26 statistical tool. I came on Superprof seeking a knowledgeable individual, preferably a professor who has worked with Phd students previously, and would understand what is expected at that level. Students at the post-graduate level need to locate someone who is not playing the guesting game and is providing the necessary assistance for the student to grow at this academic level. The tutor's knowledge becomes very significant, eliminating the need for a guessing game as to how the statistical analysis explains the answers from the survey instruments. He reminds me of some of my current professors. He asks you questions first and allows you to respond. If he sees that you are stuck, he will give a hint and give you an opportunity again to answer. If you don't know, he will be happy to assist. Everyone is treated as if they are in class; however, please take notes and follow directions. He is a phenomenal professor. You cannot ask for more. Even though I was nervous while troubleshooting survey research and estimation methods for my doctoral thesis, he managed to settle complex methodological issues.
I am looking forward to my next meeting, so I can learn more about the methodology and topics in statistics, as they apply to my dissertation. I would recommend Dr. Syed to anyone who needs a solid researcher and a professor who can teach you appropriately, tailor your meetings for your own assignment, and, more importantly, convey the statistical data in a manner in which comprehension can occur.

I have learned the materials but was never able to thoroughly understand them, but with his help, I'm confident interpreting the regression tables and their economic meanings. Proficient and dependable! Syed is an outstanding researcher as well as an excellent mentor with lots of precision and patience in his coaching and in providing the feedback. I found him to be an extremely professional person with quality knowledge, immense proficiency in research skills and untiring nature.
